pleaseletmedesign is a duo of young graphic designers comprising Pierre Smeets (b. 1981) and Damien Aresta (b. 1979). They set up their own graphic design studio in 2004 after graduating from Saint-Luc Higher School of Arts in Liège (Belgium) and spending almost a full year in ERG (Graphic Research School) in Brussels (Belgium).

Beppi, from the Circle of Evil-I was born in the year of the monkey and love these furry, fun lovin’ critters. Recently, I have done some silk screens of different famous people and their monkeys (Elvis & Scatters, Michael & Bubbles). I found out recently that monkeys led to the demise of at least one elderly lady in connection with Jim Jones…. Well, I just had to know more. (By the way, Jim Jones’ monkey was named Sugar.) Stories, connections, conspiracies- are all the things that feed my art.
