PLEASE do not post pornography on your blog anymore. it is totally offensive and inappropriate for what is usually a wonderful resource.
i recommend your amazing blog as a resource to many friends and family, many of them young, still in school, and half of them wonderful young women who would not appreciate these degrading pictures.

i often work at my computer with my young children playing and working around me, it is not right to have pornography on your website with no warning, no hints. if you do decide that this is something you want to do again {and i beg you not to} please label your website as what it is and warn people it is explicit.

i beg you Dmitry please do not go down this path.
i would hate to stop following your otherwise wonderful blog.
sincerely
dj paine

OK! Next time I’ll make a cut with warning message: “Parental advisory! Beautiful women bodies inside!!! Kick your kids out of the screen.”

BTW. Design You Trust is not a safe blog. This is not a pornography blog. What do you think about… hmmm… about adult toys DESIGN? I’ts a design industry too. Something like that toy:

Oh, sorry, forgot the source:

dj, I don’t see this as pornographic. But it is more photography than design… and “not safe for work”. A little warning might be nice. I can’t really have that sort of thing on my screen at work.

…now, at home, that’s another story :)

LJ, DeviantArt, Blogger, Behance… Welcome to the Internet!

I also thought this was unexpected and a bit much without a warning sign. The reason why is this is photographic (realistic) and the girls are in purposely provocative poses… so this is leaning to the erotic and a bit more. I don’t have a problem with nudity and I like artistic photos of nudes, but looking at these images it looked to be an easy way to shock and attract users to the site. And that is what I took as the message of these specific images, that this was for the boys… which also can be debated into a bigger topic.

I have also seen this at Behance, and some images I don’t find of best taste. Like there was a series you can see all body parts and intercourse, I don’t think that is exactly art per say. Not saying nude photography can’t be published, I also publish on my site, and recently with a film feature at Scene 360… I had to make a call when to add a film still or not to the Dumont feature. It is part of his European film and featured in other European film mags. I decide to add the image, but at top of review a warning note, so people can decide if to view or not which was further down.

There is also a cultural difference of showing things from North America to Europe, which is clear in print magazines (design and film ones). And I think despite our openness in Europe, it sometimes comes off as too much in other countries. So that is something to think about. Although I know Dmitry you want to post anything that is artistic. Best route is to add a warning for these types of images, if they are really strong, but continue to publish since you are shaping your magazine to your taste and mission.

All the best.

i agree with most everything above. i saw it and thought that it just looked like soft-porn off a teen boobs site. it makes the blog low-brow. nothing wrong with nudity, but sometimes its just too easy. finding attractive young naked ladies is quite easy online and if anyone needs/wants that i am sure they can find just as beautiful women with a simple google search. you can’t find beautiful design with a simple google search.

this is also everyone’s blog… so it is what it will be. not censorship. just opinion and advice.

It’s not remotely about porn and shockability, there are no taboos left, it’s purely about quality of content, it’s amateur titilation at best, something I would expect from a cheap lads mag. I thought this site was about art, design, fashion, photography etc.? I don’t know why you don’t admit you have made a mistake? It’s wildly off-topic and really a little sad!
