I have this movie and it has great special features about the art of the movie. The movie itself, however, is not for everyone.

Its a great film.
Somehow it reminded me of the original GODZILLA. Its more then simply a monster film.
Bong, the director, also made the excellent MEMORIES OF MURDER.
THE HOST is available in various DVD edition, the most impressive being the NTSC Region 3 Korean Ultimate edition which I own.
