Rusudan Petviashvili
Rusudan Petviashvili was born in Tbilisi (georgia) on the 25th of January, 1968. She started to paint when she was one year and ten months old. The first personal exhibition was held when she became 6. Up to the hundred of her graphic and colour pictures were exhibited: the large-formatted, highly complicated one-touch drawings, mostly. A dose of minimalism and efforts for changing the perception is maybe the simplest definition for Time Tuner – the new generation clock design, developed by Antrepo Design Industry.
Minu Tuner is a minute edition of Time tuner. Same style, same base of design but more colourful touch and more digitalized. The Minu Tuner is based on the linear flow of time and it have a led based screen, line indicator for minutes, big numbers for hours. It’s colour options; red, yellow, blue, orange or green and the dimensions are 340x65x65mm.
As the Time Tuner has attached lots of interest worldwide and its concepts patents are already issued, Antrepo Design Industry is now in a research process to find a partner company that will cover the costs of production (Both of them). Street Vehicle Portraits
Kevin Cyr is a painter based in brooklyn, New York. Many of Cyr’s paintings are executed on plywood, reflecting the artist’s subject. As he explains, ‘in a culture in which people are easily lured by the appeal of status-enhancing symbols, i find beauty in derelict cars and unkempt landscapes.’ The cars and other vehicles he paints have character not seen in flashy car ads but the marking’s of a storied past. Cyr removes these vehicles from their original context, giving them a portrait like importance and allows the viewer to re-examine the sights they may take for granted.
