To most people, Carnival means music, sequins, feathers, glitter, girls in minuscule costumes and men in drag, but for the residents of the small coastal town of Jacmel in southern Haiti, Carnival, or Kanaval, means (unsurprisingly for a country where the principal religion is Voodoo) scaring the shit out of each other. And men in drag.

john: Nice. But what’s the purpose of making the elements vector/scalable? The interface is intentionally designed for 1 (possibly 2, depending on how it handles orientation shifts) size, correct…? The only thing it should be scaling are native iPhone apps, and according to Apple, those will just be “pixel-doubled”.

I do like his pencil works, but I was really amazed by the experimental video Pat made by means of his Canon 40d. It is an excellent work showing movement which is merged with the music. I’m sure it’s still avalable and it’s worth seeing.
