The design is pretty awesome, but your distribution model needs serious rework.
If the idea is to highlight current media events, then why on earth will it take 28 days to ship to me? if it gets to me in a month’s time, then i am no longer wearing a shirt parodying a current media hype, i am wearing a shirt parodying OLD NEWS.
You need to consider an on-demand t-shirt printer and overnight express postage. This will ensure that people get your shirts while the design is still relevant.
