Iceland-based designer Thorbjorn Ingason conceptualizes this photographic/design project for the concept store Kron Kron in Reykjavik. It’s always great to see designers opting to go physical over digital, or combining the two as in this paper sculpture based on the form of the letter B. Photographic assistance provided by Torfi.

john: Nice. But what’s the purpose of making the elements vector/scalable? The interface is intentionally designed for 1 (possibly 2, depending on how it handles orientation shifts) size, correct…? The only thing it should be scaling are native iPhone apps, and according to Apple, those will just be “pixel-doubled”.

I do like his pencil works, but I was really amazed by the experimental video Pat made by means of his Canon 40d. It is an excellent work showing movement which is merged with the music. I’m sure it’s still avalable and it’s worth seeing.
