Fondation Cartier Graffiti Writing Lookbook

France’s own Fondation Cartier created this specialized collection which contains over 1,000 works by 300 graffiti artists. Viewers have the option to look up different types of graffiti writing, either in alphabetical order from A-Z, or by street artist. Clicking on one letter will show you a small collection of pictures from the artist’s catalogue – an awesome idea and a great resource for your future inspiration…

john: Nice. But what’s the purpose of making the elements vector/scalable? The interface is intentionally designed for 1 (possibly 2, depending on how it handles orientation shifts) size, correct…? The only thing it should be scaling are native iPhone apps, and according to Apple, those will just be “pixel-doubled”.

I do like his pencil works, but I was really amazed by the experimental video Pat made by means of his Canon 40d. It is an excellent work showing movement which is merged with the music.
