HiRISE Mars Images from 300KM




The Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter has been quietly orbiting Mars for the last two years taking stunning hi-res photographs. I saw that too… many of these are “false” color, meaning they are including infrared or ultraviolet filters and showing that in RGB. If you want to see a closer thing to the real Mars see my blog’s Mars thread: http://wanderingspace.net/category/mars/
