This is so sexist - man (blue) is embodiment of knowledge, brain, judgement, you make it and muscle and the woman (pink) is embodiment of happy, contended, fruits, heaven, and satisfied. This porn discourse should not be a part of a public advertising campaign. Outrageous!

I’m missing why this is so terrible. Sure, the words used to create the figures could have been chosen a little more wisely but if you bothered to research this at all, you’d find that the artist is German and possibly misinterpreted some of the translations he intended. Beyond that, it’s a joke campaign. It catches your interest and now you’ll remember Durex.

Outrageous? No, that’s just how you’re reacting to it. It’s 2010, not 1910. Unless you don’t own a television, you see much worse innuendo on prime time than you do in this ad.

This is so sexist - woman (pink) is satisfied, content, happy, and pleased while the man (blue) is full of Fatal Errors suggesting he is nothing but a mistake. This porn discourse should not be a part of a public advertising campaign. Outrageous!

If anyone needs a spin doctor than look no further here are two of the best! Yes, I do have TV and watch it a lot - but I choose carefully what I watch. I do not allow MTV or some stupid reality show to set my standards and criteria. Sexism is wrong whether there is a lot or very little of it in our society. It’s called principles. Relativising things in this case by saying it is a joke and it’s for condoms just shows lack of principles and disregard for what our ancestors have fought for. Even more ridiculous is to try to represent a man in this case a victim because of one label when he is given many others. Also, if you’d know anything about feminism you would know that labeling woman as “satisfied, content, happy, and pleased” as opposite to a man is extremely sexist and so does not prove the point you are trying to make.
When we will realise that postmodern relativism and making fun of principles as just as wrong? And when we will learn that saying “you’re no fun” or “it’s a joke” is not a valid argument. Although I said I watch a lot of (carefully selected) TV it seems that I am not the one brainwashed here.
My reaction is exactly appropriate for this behaviour - principled, backed up, passionate and brave. What is your reaction - “dude, it is a joke” or “let’s parody it”? Sorry guys, that is not a reaction.
