The Burj Al Arab is a hotel located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates and is a self-proclaimed 7-star hotel. At 321 m (1,053 ft), it is the second tallest hotel in the world. The Burj Al Arab stands on an artificial island 280 m (920 ft) out from Jumeirah beach, and is connected to the mainland by a private curving bridge. It is an iconic structure to mimic the sail of a ship.

Lighting can make or break any 3D scene. A beautifully modeled object, terrain or person will look terrible with improper lighting, but if lit properly, nearly anything will look realistic because the lighting will convince the viewer that the object or scene is real. Caustics is light rays being reflected or refracted through a material, creating a focused light ray on the other side of the material.
