Luukku House wins Architecture award at 2010 European Solar Decathlon
‘Luukku House’, an ultra energy-efficient house from the Aalto University in Finland has won the first prize in the Architecture category at the 2010 European Solar Decathlon, being held from June 18-27, 2010 in Madrid, Spain.
‘Luukku’, which is a Finnish term for ‘hatch’, has been designed by collaboration at Aalto University which includes the Helsinki University of Technology, University of Art and Design and the Helsinki School of Economics.
