Free Fonts Originating from the Wild West

One of the most vivid phenomena in the history of the USA is the Wild West with its specific and distinct style, easily traced in many symbols of that time – from unique cowboy clothing to saloon interiors and to… original fonts on the Wanted posters. Today the fonts of the Wild West or Western fonts are still in common use in design industry for their originality and recognizability. Always straight and vertically aligned, these fonts feature solid lines often with outlined effect, specific serif decorations, and oblong shape of the glyphs. If you need to recreate the atmosphere of the U.S. Wild West through graphical means, there is no better was but to use one of the free Western fonts, offered below.
