Tommy Kane has been an art director in the advertising business for the last 25 years. He’s created some very well know campaigns for the likes of Steve Madden shoes and Yellow Tail wines. Kane also has 2 television commercials in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art. Unbeknownst to most people, he was also a closet artist, secretly churning out paintings and illustrations at an alarming rate. These he did not for any particular assignment but just for his own enjoyment. He now has a well known blog and a huge following. Kane travels the world armed with only a camping stool and sketchbook, drawing what he sees right on the streets. He is also a founding member of the website, Urban Sketchers.
