50 Ways to See San Francisco by Roger Wang

Inspired by the classic ‘I Heart NY’ symbol, Roger Wang took to the streets of San Francisco to see how its people would express their feelings about the city, for a project he titled 50 Ways to See San Francisco. The results were diverse, as local designers, musicians, artists, business people, students and tourists expressed their love, distaste or indifference for the city.

Crucial Moments of the Wild Life
Photographers often look for the inspiration and objects for their pictures in the most unusual and unexpected places. Some of them try to portray the falling water drops; others do their best to photograph flame or fog. There are also many talented photographers, who direct their skills and efforts towards photographing wild nature and some particular moments of its life, such as hunting, resting, or eating… The latter aspect of animal life is depicted on the photographs, displayed in this showcase at Cruzine.

Listen to your pa, son.
Well Icarus didn’t and he paid for it with his life.
In Greek mythology, Icarus was the boy who in the sheer pleasure of flight forgot what his father, Daedalus, had told him.
Daedalus had made himself and his son wings out of feathers and wax so they could escape from Crete where they had been imprisoned by King Minos because Daedalus had helped the kings daughter in a matter concerning a Labyrinth and Minotaur.
Daedalus told his son not to fly too close to the sun or the sea. Icarus was so caught up in the sheer pleasure of flight that his fathers words were forgotten. He flew too close too the sun and the wax in the wings melted, sending him tumbling to his death into the Icarian Sea. Very sad.
Apparently the real escape from Crete was by boat, but that is nowhere near as good a story!
