Jerry Burch photographs fire performers during Phoenix’s first Friday event in April 2011. Every first Friday of the month, the city of Phoenix, Az. hosts an arts festival downtown, where street performers entertain among various art exhibits. As these photos exemplify, the entertainment can prove engaging and more than a little illuminating.
