See NYC through the lens of DeShaun A. Craddock

This shot was taken half an hour before the Manhattanhenge phenomenon.
Self-taught photographer DeShaun Craddock has been walking the streets of New York all his life. For nearly a year, he has been sharing his point of view via his photography blog.

Shops in Brooklyn give the ground splashes of color during this rainstorm.
DeShaun’s local eye shows viewers that there’s more to see than tourist attractions, although they do make appearances in his work. The blog gets many views in New York, but the reach has extended across the United States, as well as Europe, Asia, and Australia. While that is quite a feat, DeShaun longs to one day hang his work on the walls of a gallery. Currently, you can hang his work on your own walls by visiting his blog here. In addition, he has self-published a photo book, titled Vacancy
