Radioactive Control is an outdoor installation by spanish collective luzinterruptus which addresses in a humorous tone, the paranoia we are suffering from the escape of radioactive material in japan, bringing into question the safety systems of nuclear power plants. The project features an army of 100 mysteriously illuminated radioactive figures that seem to advance threateningly in the natural environment in which they are positioned. The intention of the piece was to invite reflection regarding the use and abuse of nuclear energy.
