Every fourth Friday of every month, the Elk Lodge in Ventura, California holds the ‘Elk Burger Challenge’ where hungry contenders try to eat a really big burger, fries, and pudding within 60 minutes. An entry fee of US$25 is required and anyone who finishes the challenge wins $100 and a place in the Lodge’s Hall of Fame. Two contenders went for the gold on October 28, 2011. via Hungeree.
