Senate, Stop the Chainsaw
A hot air balloon operated by Greenpeace rises into the sky with the words, “Senado, Desliga Essa Motosserra” (Senate, Stop the Chainsaw) emblazoned across its surface in Brazil on November 29, 2011. Greenpeace and its supporters are protesting changes that are planned to the Brazilian Forest Code which would potentially allow private landowners to develop ecologically sensitive areas of the rain forest. via Hungeree.

Growing old with pet goldfish
A pair of goldfish named Splish and Splash who were won as prizes at a Cheltenham fair in 1977 are still alive and well in the home of Richard and Ann Wright who reside in Brockworth, Gloucestershire, England. The goldfish have outlived four pet cats that the Wrights have owned through the past three decades. via Hungeree.

Entre Cielos Hotel & Spa by A4 estudio
Check out this great Hotel and Spa in Guardia Vieja Street, Lujan de Cuyo, Mendoza, Argentina. Rest and relaxation were the main objectives of this assignment for architect A4 estudio. The building occupies total project area of around 597 square meters for spa area and 2,180 square meters for hotel area. More info and pictures!
