A 14-story statue of Mazu, the Chinese goddess of the sea, which almost rivals the Statue of Liberty in height (42.3 meters for Mazu vs. 46 meters for Miss Liberty) stands along the seaside in Tianjin, China, on February 10, 2012. Builders completed construction of the statue in December 2012 and it will be a central attraction of the new Mazu Culture Economic and Trade Park being built in the Binhai Tourism Zone in Tianjin. via Hungeree
