The Cabinet of Dreams by Grey London
For Valentine’s Day, ad agency Grey London has created a virtual shop installation for domestic abuse charity Women’s Aid. Grey brought in nine London artists to design a series of bell-jars each containing their own unique take on a romantic ideal such as “Some Old Fashioned Romance” or “The Moon on a Stick”, while the shop itself was designed by Tinker Tailor.
Shoppers can ‘buy’ the gift by texting a number found next to the items, and a donation will be made to Women’s Aid. The object of that person’s affections will then receive the virtual gift, heartfelt sentiment and image of the artwork to their phone.

This jar depicts Old Fashioned Romance, as imagined and designed by Marie Louise Jones and represents a £7 donation.
You can find out more about it at www.cabinetofdreams.co.uk. See the rest of the bell jars after the jump…
