How can you see anything that isn’t there actually?
Take a careful look on the pictures and let’s see how many of them can you recognize!
“What on earth is this?” – You could ask.
You might define them as optical illusions or visual brain teasers (“Eye teasers”). The hidden famous icons, silhouettes make you feel that you have seen them somewhere before…. “but where exactly?”
The idea is based on an optical illusion, called “Kanizsa triangle”. That’s why we dedicated our first picture to the modification of the triangle. Its inventor was an Italian psychologist who created these “rotated pacman figures” to illustrate basic assumption of Gestalt psychology, that the human eye sees objects in their entirety before perceiving their individual parts.
