This past weekend marked the launch of the highly anticipated ART HK 12 Hong Kong International Art Fair 2012. Featuring two convention rooms filled with both modern and contemporary art, the comprehensive exhibition was held at Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. Now in its fifth year, ART HK 12 saw works from many notables including the likes of Takashi Murakami, Damien Hirst, George Condo, Jeff Koons, KAWS, José Parlá, Picasso, Andy Warhol, Barry McGee, Keith Haring as well as Lee Yong baek, who’s work i saw at the Venice Biennale 2012, he’s the one who made the painting with the fishes.
