Cool and creative beds must come up with cool and creative headboard too. So here are my picks of the week of cool headboard designs.

Let’s start off with a revolving headboard from “De Sede”. It was designed by a Swish furniture company in Germany. The bed has a low-profile approach which gives it a nice couch-like feel and it gets even better when paired with the perfect minimalist objects and designs around the room. And it comes with a two-piece revolving headboard the enables you to place it on any direction around the bed. I bet you and your partner would have lots of fun experimenting with this De Sede revolving headboard bed.

As De Sede claims that ” standardized elements can be used for the slatted frames and mattresses thus allowing customers to choose their bed’s “inner selves” to suit their own individual requirements. These beds provide the ideal spot for virtually untrammelled dreaming – both by night and by day.”

I personally like this one since it gives out a nice zen look when this bed is place in the middle of the bedroom

Next is the Vintage Shutter Headboard. It’s cheap and it’s a classic but, it’s definitely practical and it brings out the “DIY” in you. It’s really easy to assemble and stick against the wall and it obviously costs less. I mean, what else do you expect from an old unused shutter window after all? Or you could buy new ones if you just want to recreate this idea in a fresh package.

This would fit perfectly to a double bed. It emits a Girl - next - door look when the bed is covered with a light colored bed sheet.

This set of headboards would fit a room with a thrasher or a surfer style decor. It gives a "Hang Loose" effect not only to the bed but also to the room itself.

Now this type of headboard came from a cut piece of Sequoia, commonly known as the Redwood tree. The Redwood tree is one of the largest trees and is also considered as an endangered natural source of wood. And if you look close enough to the picture below, you would notice that the headboard has burn marks on it and the cuts seem to be irregular in shape. Therefore you don’t need to cut down healthy Sequoias and put it on a wall. Some of these trees naturally die out from external natural causes like fire, flood, etc. and then that would be time for you to “legally” cut a piece from it.

Sequoia boards give an elegant and classy look to your bed. One of the "must haves".

Okay, I must consider this example since this type of headboard is actually drawing decals on your wall. These wall decals would actually serve as a headboard for you bed. Well I must say that it depends on the type of bed that you have so that it’d be okay for you to just put on some wall-swag art or a graffiti, I don’t care as long as it looks cool enough.
