Dutch artist Bart Jansen (center) built the ‘Orvillecopter’ using the body of his cat ‘Orville’ as the chassis after he was hit by a car. To memorialize Orville, Jansen attached rotors to each of the cat’s outstretched paws, balanced his body for flight, and attached a power supply to create what may be the first ever remote-controlled cat-copter. The Orvillecopter is currently on display as part of the KunstRAI art festival in Amsterdam, Netherlands, on June 3, 2012. via Hungeree
