“When the City was a House of Horror” is the title of this wonderful series of photographs taken by John Conn (for the few who do not know just go here ) in line 6 subway to the Bronx (NYC) in the seventies…
The picture is clear to all, speak for themselves, but perhaps the most interesting part is that we do not see, that of a photographer, his Hasselblad and a knife running around New York in search of the perfect shot, the magic moment Life stopped for that moment in a photograph. A black and white than those who did not make it longer and a bit ‘of courage in the shot do the rest.
