Situated on the top of a hill on the west coast of Reunion Island. The back of the house offers a panoramic view of the coastline’s surf, while the front faces the island’s indigenous vegitation and green landscape. This location allowed No Coffee Architects to design the house with two distinct feels. While the front was inspired by the styles of the local homes in Bali, the back ocean-facing view took on another approach using the cool blues and open space of the Indian Ocean as its source of inspiration. The central space of the house stretches between the two views creating a sunrise and sunset feeling everyday. Enjoy!
