Nowadays appealing product package design is very important for the actual product to be successful. It wasn’t like that before .. but since there are more and more producers out there offering similar products, better product design simply gets more attention. Product design is part of the marketing mix and no one should underestimate it’s importance. Check for example Apple … sure, the quality and user-friendliness of their products is undeniable … but the actual product design is what plays the major role. Without quality designers Apple wouldn’t be where they are now.
