EVERY Studio – Architecture + Design

Melbourne based architects, Sarah Crowley and Alessia Pegoli, believe that the role of the architect in today’s information age is more than just designing buildings. After befriending each other at architecture school, and having always worked well as a complimentary team they decided it was time to join forces, and EVERY was the culmination.
EVERY is a multi-disciplinary design studio providing services in Interior Design, Graphics and Branding, Art Installations, Product Design, and of course Architecture.

“When we sat down to discuss what we were actually proposing, we quickly realised that although we both have a specific interest in architecture, and collectively over 10 years experience in the design field, we also bring knowledge from other disciplines to the table,” explains Alessia. “We came to the conclusion that together we have the skill set to design across a broad creative field, hence we called ourselves EVERY.”

Sarah and Alessia were drawn together by a mutual interest in designing from unexpected materials. “We used to have competitions at university on who could make the most quirky piece of jewellery from products found on the building site. We have carried this notion of upcycling and reuse into our EVERY day designs, from micro to macro,” says Sarah.

Most recently, EVERY has completed designs for cutting edge sustainable homes in Melbourne and Italy. Outside of architecture, the team has headed a range of creative projects, from reclaimed timber Christmas trees, to graphics and branding for local and international clients, to a collection of homewares and jewellery about to be released in Melbourne and Italy.
