Hironaka House is a minimalist home located in Tokyo, Japan, designed by Ken Yokogawa Architect & Associates. The home is separated into two areas: the below-ground living space, and the sleeping and bedroom spaces behind a slate wall. The living space is equipped with panoramic windows that overlook a secluded garden.
I am in love with this polyhedral structure. By far one of the most unique architectural facade’s I’ve ever seen, Hironaka House is beautiful both inside and out. My favorite would have to be the steel material used for the building’s cladding. The tiny screws that hold them in place are minimalist details that I die for.
