Campbell’s Advertisement : Andrew Warhola

I chose Andy Warhol as the icon of the ads because he indirectly does pose as the icon of the product in the eyes of public. This pioneer of pop art has created a few different series of silk screen paintings with the subject matter of Campbell soup. There’s a story behind his paintings which makes things more fun, Andy Warhol grew up eating Campbell soup everyday in his life. He loves them. Hence, I came up with the idea of “Good food, good people” by using Andy Warhol as the main character. Giving the ideas that eating Campbell soup can somehow make you a great person, just like Andy Warhol!
