Seems here in Europe the winter is finally over and because of that it would be more than appropriate to begin with a nice sunny forest photo called The Magic Wood … by Giò Tarantini. Got to mention a cute cub photo right below called Dreamy Eyed by Ken Shimo. Love the ears :). It’s time to move forward though. Let’s take a look how creative were the illustrators out there. Do not miss the Ignore your Idols by Alex Landa as well as the Molmoli by Kian Kiani. Also our art / digital section is worth checking out today … there is an amazing artwork by Valerie Belin (very first one). But it’s not the only one I like … at the very bottom there is a cool artwork by Artstudio Norarts called Strange Dream. If you like open spaces and glass walls, check the Haus D10 by Werner Sobek … very clean and modern. The architect needs to find an owner without privacy issues though :) … well, if the estate is large enough, the is no issue. Guys, of course there are some nice freebies at the bottom … we didn’t forget about that neither. Enjoy! .. and get some sunshine during the weekend.

What a nice photo to begin with. Check the Daasanach Tribe Girl, Omorate, Ethiopia by Eric Lafforgue … love the bottle lids on her head. Andrew Fladeboe is surely original with his white lions in front of the medieval castle. Seems like a nice photo manipulation to me .) … the result is perfect though. If you guys love 3d artworks, do not miss the frog / lizard by Renat. That’s some exceptional work he’s done. Good idea, humor and decent project realization usually bring results when speaking of advertising. Check SPIT Extra Strong Fixings: Gorilla by Euro RSCG 360 if it has everything required .). Got to stop like for the first time in the technology section. Was always a fan of Range Rovers and Evoque did bring some fresh air when it first hit the market. What do you guys think of the convertible concept? Could imagine cruising in it ;). If you are a web designer or web programmer you’ll agree that forms are part of the business. To make the business easier, check today’s freebie featuring sign up forms, login panels, subscribe forms and download buttons. That’s all from me … enjoy today’s collection! .)
Great Food for Thought: How Designers Hit The Wall
Life is a game. The way you choose to play, is completely up to you. Your free will, essentially leads you to take specific decisions. Decisions are like opening closed doors, some will lead to a trap while others create new opportunities. So what does this whole wisdom talk have to do with this article? Today we will focus on self help for designers.
Whenever you are faced with a problem, always ask questions. Why, why, why? Using this sort of common sense, leads to answering the most challenging queries. A common thing most people do is take a pencil and paper to write down their problems. After, they brainstorm the causes for that problem. Once you find the cause, the next obvious thing to do is to come up with solutions.
As designers we practice creative thinking on a daily basis. We throw knowledge and inspiration into a huge pot. From then on, we stir it up a few times and come out with a whole new medicine. Like a chemist, we simply develop potions for our clients. With the right amount of creativity and ingredients visual success is born.
DAILY INSPIRATIONS FOR DYT #264
Enjoy this cool #264 Thursday daily inspirations for all DYT readers :) with great photos and artworks.

Today we’ll begin our journey with an amazing Great Wall photo. Just stunning how someone could build stuff like that. Although this artwork is beautiful, we’ll move to another beauty – check the photo called Brides & Widows by Joanna Kustra. Love the innocence in her eyes. From today’s illustrations I like two the most. I am speaking about The loneliness of a sappy man by Marco Piunti and a bit spooky artwork called Family Portrait of the Passed by Jon MacNair. They are actually at the very end of the section … to give you proper instructions :). For those who like monsters, we got few in the 3d section, but I like the CG Amphibious Creature Bust by Mauricio (Maury) Ruiz the most … seems pretty hungry :). Of course there are plenty of other cool inspirations such as paintings, ads, typography etc … so you better check those. At the very end I would like to mention a very nice freebie – Glowing Volume Knob & Switch by Premium Pixels. Make sure to get it.

5 Must Have Gadgets and Accessories for Your iPhone
With more and more developers focusing on iOS, the platform is growing stronger every single day. It’s pretty obvious that if a company provides a great ecosystem between all of their devices, more users will adapt it. Apple saw this a while back and now every other company is rushing to counter the attack. So if you are an iPhone/iPod Touch owner, try to resist the temptation of pulling out your credit-card when you see these awesome gadgets!
Instaprint | Instagram Photo Booth
Instaprint is a location based photo booth that can transform parties and events by putting a camera in everyone’s hand. By setting Instaprint to look out for specific locations or hashtags, any Instagram tagged appropriately will automatically be printed out on inkless paper. Now I know that you are probably thinking that this is just a waste of ink. Why print something, when everything is digital?
Instead of dealing with ink cartridges that constantly need replacement, Instaprint uses an inkless technology where all color is pulled right from the paper itself. For higher volume printing and an even better look, additional Instaprints can be daisy chained together to share power and connectivity. Each multi-box set up requires one Instaprint that has a controller and Wi-Fi module which then drives the other controller-less Instaprints.
