Oi São Paulo Fashion Week Concept space by 20.87 Estúdio
São Paulo based Estúdio 20.87 has designed the space for “Oi” inside the biggest fashion show in South America, São Paulo Fashion Week.
The space takes advantage of the inherent intelligence of already made objects, such as plastic baskets, mechanical workshop lights, wooden containers and even trash bins.
An attempt to find another use for objects easily found in large scale industry by giving new purposes for these objects as well as combining with esthetic needs.
During the week event, took place inside the lounge, the act Work in Progress with artists Flip and Sesper, graffiting all around day by day.
20.87 intends to share ideas, to stimulate the creativity and promote the new.

One Piece Plywood by 20.87 estúdio
This Easel is made using only one single piece of plywood, minimizing costs with prime substance and production waste. The parts fits in on another, reducing space, for transport and storage.

The bookshelf is composed of plastic boxes used for transporting fruits; Base, reforested plywood with industrial castors.

Great4Mechanics by 20.87 estúdio
Created by 20.87 estúdio from São Paulo, Great4Mechanics desk lamp and chandelier was inspired by the mechanic workshop universe.
It’ was concepted to be a free-assembly object, remiting to classic designs or a great new design, all you need is imagination, and some spontainety to build it.
Laser cutting plywood, metal washers, butterfly screws and mechanic trouble lights. Only simple things to compose it.

Ginásio by 20.87 Estúdio
Created by 20.87 estúdio from São Paulo, the Ginásio closet (Ginásio stands for Junior high school in portuguese, and also for sports gyms)
it’s a remake of the classic locker, that for many times they had been in our lives keeping our things in non-places.
Box structure in reforestation plywood, steel doors, steel base.
Based in São Paulo, the 20.87 Estúdio can be translated by an factory ideas, it’s a place where concept, art and a view to the contemporary universe create things which goes to furniture to the graphics design and everything that request a forefront thinking.
The eye in the right-now-culture provides them the concern with product recycling, appropriation of industrial objects, for create new fresh things.
Dedicated to the development and ample conception of the term design, rebuilding semantics and the playful/ludic.
