Drill Baby Drill
Gas prices continue to rise. Everywhere around the world people are feeling that smoldering hole in their pocket continue to get hotter and hotter. Eventually it will burst into flames and leave a giant 3rd degree burn on your buttocks (and if your a lady, it’ll burn a hole through your purse like those precious stones did in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom). With other traditional sources of energy becoming depleted as well, opinions on where to find fuel have been shifting considerably. Soo how in this infographic by GOOD.

Precious Seconds: World Records Performed in 30 and 60 Seconds
So much can be done in 60 seconds it’s insane. It’s even crazier to think that people can do amazing things in 30 seconds. While your sitting at work and the time just seems to fly by, some people have taken to using these short windows of time to put themselves in the Guinness Book of World Records. See what people around the world are up to below.

Work the Angle: Psychedelic Artwork by Matt Andres
Matt Andres artwork is a fantastic mix of abstract and psychedelic imagery on paper. He creates his work using a range of mixed media including paint markers, acrylics, and highly detailed line work. His original artwork is stunning, and great for sitting there and letting your eyes wander between the lines and colors like you were walking through Strawberry Fields with a kaleidoscope. He also teamed up with Mandy-Lyn Antoniou and did line work over her photography, which is possibly some of my favorite work by him (and her photography is incredible by itself).
Check out his work below, make sure you check out his store on Society6, and his website: Work The Angle

The New Master’s Degree
The heyday of paying 100s of thousands of dollars for a top education may be over for people who have the drive to finish courses, but not the financial backing. What Would You Do With an Extra Two Hours?
With the responsibilities of work, family, and friends, there’s often little time left at the end of the day to spend on your own personal interests. The Break-Up
“You knew the this time would come. Everything used to be new, exciting — different. But I’ve changed, and you just can’t keep up.”
Some people are trying the new Internet Explorer and actually liking it. Not that they would say that out loud. Curious? It’s a new browser. Leave the old for the younger brother, you won’t be disappointed.

Working Jams: What Music To Listen To On The Job
I’m constantly reminded of the scene from Empire Records when they open the record store, and get to choose an opening song to blare and sing along to at the top of their lungs, and get amped about starting the workday. While not all of us are lucky enough to work at a place like Empire Records, many of us do get to enjoy music while at work. See which playlists are right – or wrong- for you below.
