A Chinese garbage collector who looks a lot like Apple co-founder Steve Jobs has been photographed in Xi’an, Shaanxi province, China. The garbage collector was photographed standing in the back of a truck with a contemplative pose as he presided over a fellow worker. Passerby Wang Wei, who snapped the photo with his mobile phone, said, “I was terrified in seeing him. That’s Steve Jobs.” via Hungeree

Apple-1 computer up for auction
An Apple-1 computer with serial number 22, from the estate of former Apple employee Joe Copson, is being auctioned by Christie’s in central London on October 9, 2012. The Apple-1 was hand-built by Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak and originally sold for US$666.66. The pre-auction estimate for the Apple-1 is £80,000 or US126,552. Christie’s scientific specialist James Hyslop said of the sale, “This is the computer that started Apple, now recognized as the most valuable company in the world. Loch Ness monster spotted?
Loch Ness monster hunter George Edwards, age 60, believes he has photographed the elusive creature in a photograph which appears to show a hump poking out of the waters in Loch Ness and heading towards Urquhart Castle in Scotland. Van Gogh from Space
The people voted and the winner of the ‘Earth as Art’ competition is a satellite image named ‘Van Gogh from Space’ which bears a striking resemblance to Van Gogh’s ‘Starry Night’ painting.
