One-77 Cycle, a limited edition bike created by Aston Martin
In a collaboration with bike company Factor Bikes, Aston Martin has designed a limited edition ‘superbike’ called the ‘One-77 Cycle’—that has been given the same name as the sports car maker’s most advance car model, the ‘One-77’.
Dubbed as ‘the world’s most technologically advanced road bicycle’ by the company, the bicycle features a data logging system that provides over ‘100 channels of performance feedback’ such as crank torque, leg power and crank force for both legs.
BMW Vision Efficient Dynamics Concept, a diesel sports hybrid car
The BMW Vision Efficient Dynamics concept car was showcased las week at the Los Angeles Auto Show. The newly unveiled Vision Efficient Dynamics car from BMW is mainly here to show us BMW’s new diesel-based plug-in hybrid drive system.
At its core, the Vision EfficientDynamics concept is a sportscar in the BMW vein, with promised M-car performance levels. It’s the drivetrains that are the shockers: this particular vision sees a future BMW sportscar sporting a three-cylinder diesel plug-in hybrid powertrain.

Iris, a lens camera controlled with your eyes

This eye-tracking camera by Royal College of Art graduate Mimi Zou is controlled by blinking and squinting – and even recognises your friends when it looks into their eyes.
The Iris camera uses biometric technology to identify people by looking at their unique iris signatures. If the user’s iris is recognised, the camera will automatically load their preferred settings – including aperture, ISO and screen display. As the user looks through the lens, they can zoom in and out by narrowing or widening their eyelids. To take the photo, they simply hold their gaze and double blink.

German designer Valerie Hebel created the Keep on Turnin’, a stereo system that brings back the pleasure of music. As an alternative to the usually identical and mostly technical design of stereo systems it should find its place as a piece of furniture. Analog and digital music all summed up in one housing and it has an iPod docking station as well.
KeyFree Login, a software that unlocks your accounts via your phone
Ford has created an app that unlocks all of your internet passwords when your mobile device is close to your computer and locks them when you move away.
Ogilvy Paris has developed a new app inspired by Ford’s key-free technology for unlocking and locking cars. ‘KeyFree Login‘ logs you in to all of your internet accounts (Facebook, Twitter, email, etc) by unlocking your passwords when your mobile device is close to your computer. When you move away, it locks them again by logging you out.
Motive Stylus, the iPad Smart Cover has a new sidekick
Motive Stylus contains magnets that hold it firmly together while you use it. When you dock it, the magnets inside of the iPad Smart Cover unlock Motive Stylus and cause it to transform. As it opens the neodymium magnets inMotive Stylus attach to the magnets in the iPad Smart Cover. Once it is perfectly flat it is securely docked with your iPad Smart Cover.
