In Los Angeles (downtown) in 1929 there were 42 paper mills and 17 printers that specialize in commercial printing, today there are only two and the Aardvark Letterpress Paper McManus & Morgan. Ben Proudfoot has created this short film telling through their experience, the deeds of this job. Times have changed but ovviamaente by this wonderful short film we see the passion and love for a profession that gave life to the art printing romantically. Paper, ink, letterpress, lead character and passion are the ingredients of a trade in certain endangered.
