Vector Conversion is the process whereby a raster image is converted into a vector image. In order to understand this more correctly, we will first have to understand what a raster image and what a vector image is. A raster image is made up of pixels which are small colored boxes. So in this image, lines and curved edges are constructed by proper alignment of the pixels i.e. placing the boxes in such a way next to each other that they make the desired shape.The most common file formats are eps, ai, cdr and they are popularly used in the .pdf format.
