After visiting the Graduation show at Design Academy Eindhoven yesterday it became clear to us that the term “designers” is all too narrow to describe DAE’s graduates, as their projects cover much broader topics. Just to name a few: healthcare, pharmacy, meteorology, brain science, pesticides, physics, mental conditions, resocialization of prisoners, disabilities, carbon dioxide pollution…these fields have been explored and researched for the students’ theses and it was the combination of them and the design thinking that made the projects so diverse, gripping and innovative..
