El Mas Santo Project

This is a site of art project and maybe the beginning of a new cult. It has its origins in Poland, where a young artist has chosen lucha libre as the topic of her graduation work at the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznan. The idea was to juxtapose the world of Mexican wrestlers with the grey and sad reality of Polish streets. As it happens, the project got out of control. Luchadores figures, which were originally made as part of the diplomma work, started to show up in different, faraway countries.

Special T-shirt Release From LUDWIG

Produced in collaboration with the Miles Davis Foundation.

When LUDWIG were approached by the Miles Davis Foundation to produce a special T-shirt to mark the 50th anniversary of Miles’ seminal LP Kind of Blue, they jumped on the opportunity to work with the people who safeguard the legacy of jazz legend Miles Davis. It makes sense when you consider that LUDWIG’s Creative Director, Mike Dytri, is a huge Miles Davis fan. Indeed, Mike’s own graphic design book released several years ago was named “Bitches Brew,” in tribute to Miles and his music.

The limited edition T-shirt comes on one of LUDWIG’s great enzyme washed custom T-shirts, and it will be exclusively available at the LUDWIG online shop, later this week.

Wetsuits by bydiddo. Powerd by nature!

Wetsuits are both functional and protective, but why must they all look the same? Is there some unwritten law that dictates we shed our individuality to blend into the monotone waters? Not to challenge Mother Nature’s art direction but it’s high time for a change.
