MAKE your own Custom iPad Case on Kickstarter
Design agency Freedom Of Creation has launched an initiative to bring a new breed of iPad cases to the market, unlike anything injection molding has ever seen.
Not only are all products in this range of iPad cases produced with 3D printing, they can be customized in 3D by their owner with for example text, logo’s, name’s or icons, each and every product will be a one-off piece.

Ted Noten designs graduation trophy for design academy
Dutch designer Ted Noten worked together with Freedom Of Creation to create the latest Design Academy Trophy. Each year an artist is commissioned by the Design Academy to design a trophy for the newly graduated students.
Gaudi Chair, 3D printed furniture by Bram Geenen

Freedom Of Creation 3D prints New York Apple
Several designers were commissioned to represent the New York Big Apple as an art piece for a special auction organized by Tommy Hilfiger in New York. Christian Thiel designed a Big Apple, which incorporates all the most famous attractions of New York, Freedom Of Creation produced the art piece by means of 3D printing.
Limited edition Berlin wall light design by Janne Kyttanen
To celebrate the 20 year anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall, Freedom Of Creation designed a small series of limited edition lights. These lights are a customised version of the Riot Light design by Janne Kyttanen, for the design of the Berlin light he collaborated with designer Stefan Schad. These lights will be sold exclusively by rooms-Interior in Berlin, where Freedom Of Creation exhibits its product collection from 17 of November till 2nd of January.

Abstract
Revolutions seldom happen… but a new one is well on its way, and we are the pioneers.
Not long ago, the norm was months or even years for the development and market analysis of even a simple new product, and designers were able to produce only a handful of products during their careers.
New production technologies involving 3D printing are changing many realities for today’s designers and manufacturers. The possibilities enabled by these new tools and the ability to consider production in terms of days, or even hours, is simply mind-boggling. Be it modification, adaptation or production speed – the dramatic reduction in “time to market” is allowing technology to outrun traditional marketing strategies and keep in touch with consumer trends in new product demand – and thus begging the question if today’s current manufacturing infrastructure might also be rapidly becoming outdated.
