A busy weekend at Monsieur Bandit – What have you missed?
Have you visited Monsieur Bandit Blogozine yet? If you are interested in Illustration, graphic design, comics, animation, art and storytelling you might want to consider stopping by.
This weekend was particularly busy… There was a post on Brian Dettmer, an artist who does amazing cut-ups of books (with 2 video interviews), a gallery of paintings still on the easel in the workplace of Ashley Wood, the prolific comic artist. Also a brilliant short animated film by Isaac King and an opening sequence for a documentary on opening sequences by Jurjen Versteeg. To top it off: an inspirational talk by graphic designer James Victore who hates perfection and claims that real people don’t care about letter spacing…
