Hack Forth & Multiply

Hack Forth & Multiply

Hack Forth and Multiply is giving you the opportunity to work on a ‘live’ brief from Not For Sale – the global campaign to fight human trafficking and slavery

You’ll be required to name a Not For Sale project, create its identity and then apply that identity to specific media.

Oh, and you’ll only have 24 hours to do it. Up for the challenge? That’s the spirit.

You have until 10am Feb 1st to register.

Once registered, the brief will be emailed to you at 12 noon Feb 1st, 2012. Submission details will be sent to you along with the brief. Then you’re free to crack on with it wherever you crack on with things best.

More than just a chance to create work that matters, you’ll also be in the running to win some great prizes, including iPads, cash prizes, internships / placements and the opportunity to develop the winning idea with Not For Sale.

The Takeaway box

London based designer Ashwin Patel created a new campaign at The Bertie Agency for a London-based office refurbishment company – the takeaway box. With the company offering they “deliver the office you want”, a direct mail piece was created in the form of a typical Chinese takeaway box. The exterior of the box depicted a stylised office block with humorous and quirky scenes throughout. Once the lid was removed, the company’s offerings were revealed.

An annual publication identity and brochure developed for RUDI – Resource for Urban Design Information, the largest independent web resource dedicated to urban design and placemaking. Launched at the Royal Institute of British Architects, the publication provided an overview of the key issues placemakers face.

Bahrain Airshow 2010

A coffee table brochure was designed for Lea International, the makers of this fabulous event. Mixed with stunning imagery and bold typography, the picture book describes how this first ever airshow in Bahrain took place from initial site build to final completion.

Hidden Passion

A self-initiated project based on unwanted scrap cars. Ashwin photographed old vintage cars around various scrap heaps in Surrey, England and combined the beautiful photography with a love story, outlining the passion men have for old unwanted cars.

Fun, engaging internal branding

Ashwin helped design the internal branding for a fast growing comms provider in Surrey, England, who were moving to newer and bigger premises. The idea behind the work was to engage the employees, partners, suppliers and customers by communicating the company’s brand values and personality.
