The end result of this trip is an awesome blog and a film called “The Life-Light” which will be about personal breakthroughs and facing (y)our barriers. This project is also our graduation project for the HKU – Utrecht School of the Arts, The Netherlands.
In this episode we drive through the desert to Las Vegas, we visit the Grand Canyon and we go back to the West Coast to end our road-trip in L.A. ‘The city of angels’.

In this episode we’re flying to San Francisco where we visited GMUNK and went to see a world classic baseball game. We visit the famous old prison Alcatraz and kick of our road trip in California with the pacific coast highway along The Big Sur!

In this episode we meet up with 3 different (art) directors from New York. Dan DiFelice and Aras Darmawan and last but not least Jon Gorman from Buck NY. We also explore more of the city and we tried to visualize the vibe that we got from this amazing city! In the next episode we’ll travel to San Francisco and we will start our one month road-trip through California, Nevada and Arizona!

In this episode we explore more of New York; we went to Central Park Zoo and we also took the East River Ferry to get a nice view on the city skyline. Jordi got some new sneakers and we also went to Dumbo, Brooklyn. Just enjoy the city with us through this episode and fall in love with New York like we did!

In this episode you can see the beginning of this amazing adventure in Buenos Aires. We’re saying goodbye to our family and friends and start discovering the amazing city in Argentina. We also met up with some amazing creative people a long the way. Starting with Pablo and Mariano from Plenty studio and finishing our visit to Buenos Aires with a meeting at 2veinte studio with Agustin and Pablo.

I always struggled to see who I really was, hiding myself behind a mask.
When my mother was diagnosed with terminal cancer 2 years ago everything changed!
I had to learn and accept that it’s impossible to have everything under control.
I am allowed to do the things I dream of and it’s OK to make mistakes!
I am ready to discover myself! I am Daan and this is my journey!

The Life-Light project is a short film about creative challenges. Our motto “There is always more!” is a big part of our Life-Light project. We are not satisfied with mediocrity, we want to be superb! We are not afraid to say “I don’t know”, because this means we have something new to learn. We know we still have creative barriers, but we don’t let them hold us back. They drive us further, our vision is to make these barriers steps to grow as creative filmmakers/designers and human beings. We don’t believe that the boundaries you experience in your life are there to limit your possibilities, we believe boundaries are there to give you directions.
