Under My Tree Lamp by Florian Brillet
Under My Tree Lamp is a minimalist design created by Paris-based designer Florian Brillet. Invited by Cinna / Ligne Roset to develop an idea for a garden lamp, Florian Brillet has created a portable light to hang from the branch of a tree. Made of metal and wood with a waterproof lantern, it is an invitation to a life outdoors, to summer evenings in the garden. Also available with a sconce, “under my tree” may be suspended or placed on the ground.

Doll Pill Box by Quentin de Coster
Doll Pill Box is a minimalist design created by Belgian-based designer Quentin de Coster. His pill box reinvents the way users take medication in a playful, intuitive, and fun way. The design consists of nested cups that resemble Matryoshka dolls, with the pills being contained within the space between each doll. When the tumblers are removed throughout each required interval, the pills are revealed.

Radice Stool by Industrial Facility
Radice Stool is a minimalist design created by England-based design firm Industrial Facility. Radice is the outcome of Industrial Facility’s continued close work with Italian furniture producer Mattiazzi and will be presented during the Salone in Milan this year. Its beauty lies in the unexpected combination of the front-half of a traditional 4-legged stool with a single back leg, which results in both a surprisingly light and comfortable structure.

Reading Lamp by The Federal

The Reading Lamp is one of their latest pieces. Instead of opting to use traditional incandescent bulbs, the designers chose to look towards high intensity LEDs. This allowed for the lamp to have a more hollow design, all without exposing the actual light source.

La Funsel by Nils Holger Moormann
La Funsel is a minimalist design created by German-based designer Nils Holger Moormann. The new lamp La Funsel loves them all: It’s not only possible to attach it to the two beds Siebenschläfer an Tagedieb, as shown in the pictures, but it also fits with a proper clip to all tables up to a tabletop thickness of 65 mm. One for all – except for your partner in the bed: because of the focused light of the reading lamp he won’t notice anything and can easily fall asleep while you’re curiously finish reading the book “The three musketeers”.

Ascent by Daniel Rybakken
Ascent is a minimalist design created by Norway-based designer Daniel Rybakken for Luceplan. Ascent uses the same archetypical head found on Counterbalance (Luceplan 2012), mounted on a slender vertical stem. By moving the head along the stem, the light intensity goes from being turned off at the bottom position, to gradually ascending to the full light output at the top. This gives the user control over not only the light intensity, but also the spread of the light.

House in Goido is a minimalist home located in Nasa, Japan, designed by Fujiwarramuro Architects. The clients requested that the home be designed to be relatively private while maintaining a well-lit and comfortable interior environment. The architects decided to build four volumes to comprise the whole of the residence.

House in Hiyoshi is a minimalist house located in Kanagawa, Japan, designed by EANA. The residence was designed for a married couple looking for an economical home. As a result, the home was designed with simplicity in mind. A bedroom, a future children’s room, storage space and a bathroom are placed on the first floor with a low ceiling – a flexible approach in order to change for a future different way of life. The clients can look down a residential district and a station on the south side, and a lot of greenery at the city park surrounding the site on the north side.
