This year I decided to do my own hand drawn illustration for the Maguire family crest, poster , desktop wallpaper ( which you can download for free at the link below ), and a t-shirt for it. I researched the history of crest partially because of my love for history and partially due to my curiosity being piqued about the knight on the crest. I discovered more than I intended to and to make a long story short, the shield has a lot to do with the 9 years war in Ireland. Look that up on wikipedia if you would like and Hugh Maguire as well if you are a history buff. If you are interested in seeing more of the creative view here
