For the past twelve years, I’ve made countless expeditions into the deserts of the American West to photograph and artistically address the poetic relationship between the human body and the awe-inspiring landscape. My first book Bodyscapes (2007) contained vibrant creative artwork with painted bodies moving through some of the most diverse landscapes on earth. This Kickstarter will allow me to round off the necessary funding to complete, print and publish a second book of photography.

A story about the fire at the heart of suffering. Bringing together dancers, musicians, visual artists and 3d animators, the film takes a critical look at the events of the past decade that have shaped our world. Heliofant is an independent animation studio based in Montreal. These seek to create films and experimental works very sensitive. Their first film I, II pet goat is a perfect example. 7 minutes of splendid animation illustrating with great sadness the image of fire that burns in the heart of suffering.

This is the collection of the highest known prices ever paid for painting. The earliest sale on the list (Vase with Fifteen Sunflowers by Vincent van Gogh) is from 1987, and more than trebled the previous record price, set only two years before, introducing a new era in top picture prices. The sale was also significant in that for the first time a “modern” painting (in this case from 1888) became the record holder, as opposed to the old master painting which had always previously held it.
