Breaking the rules, amazing innovations, from another point of view… the new Sonia achievement is Fractal project.The 360 degrees asymmetrical design creates different furniture depending on your perspective.
This work based on the volumetric ergonomics, allowing full optimization of the interior and the exterior space. There is a narrower area favoring the passageway and another wider, maximizing the storage capacity.
The challenge was to harmonize the asymmetric and strong lines with functionality.

Designed by Raúl Villares Gayán, Sonia’s design manager, a Spanish manufacturer of innovative bath furniture and storage solutions.
Sonia wanted to transmit a different way to see bath design and ask to our department to look the project from another perspective.
The idea was to compose a bath furniture project with two simple modules. One for the vessel an the other for extra storage. I design this project as 3D volume trying to organize this two elements in the space. The result of this “3d concept” is the Songe project where the round shapes gives the final product style.
The color combination between the glass material and the wood and lacquered colors gives opens more the opportunity to personalize the furniture.

Revolutionary design, form and functional simplicity of use are the aesthetic aspects of new projects designed by Sonia Rafa Corell. The program includes hair dryer, hand dryers and soap dispenser wall. The collection is complemented by a line of shower shelves of various sizes, all made of stainless steel. Fahrenheit represents a radical change in the product range of hotel available on the market by Sonia. .

The Play collection by Sonia SA
PLAY means to perform, to take out the essence of somethig, like an instrument, at the end,……….to represent. Sonia’s PLAY collection symbolizes all that.
The multitude of finishes is offered in three versions: PLAY WOOD, PLAY COLOURS and PLAY CONCEPT. Combining oak and lacquers, in a “fifties” finishes range, fill in of expression this minimalist and retro piece.
In 2009 sonia comes with a new finish concept: SOFT. A special rubber varnish which repels water, provides the furniture water resistance and makes the cleaning easy.
Dress your bathroom and transform it in a fantasy scenario, your doll house, your favorite story, with the end you choose……an idylic bath for a idylic life.
