This weekend was “les 3 Eléphants”, the summer music festival of my hometown.
Saturday, i managed to catch one of the free concerts set up in the town center : l’EntourLoOp! myspace.com/lentourloop and capture glimpses of the crowd & crew. Enjoy!

Promenade du Quai de Bootz, au bord de la Mayenne.
After a short bike ride to the river, we found a nice place to rest and await the night. In my backpack were the 5D + kit lens and two classic FDs : 15f2.8 + 200f2.8

Canon 5Dmk2 shooting from 8pm to midnight…
Today was one of those wonderful days when the sun plays hide and seek behind morphing cloudy curtains.
I went back to the river to shoot another bridge next to the illuminated church.
By midnight, I got lucky forcing my FD lenses into maximum aperture for wonderfull chromatic aberration, coma, awesome flaring and all kinds of lovely optical artefacts from passing cars and city lights…

Saturday was a hot sunny day with beautiful rolling clouds over the river. With less traffic than usual due to the local gay pride, i got lucky shooting from low angles.
